Christakis Sergides, NBRI Member

Dr Christakis Sergides is the Innovation Director of Medochemie Ltd, a leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Cyprus. For the last 26 years he has been working in different posts at Medochemie Ltd, including Member of the company’s New Product Development team and Head and Coordinator of the Analytical and Research Laboratories and was also involved in the preparation of Research and Innovation Proposals. He also received, on behalf of Medochemie LTD, the Cyprus Innovation award 2012 for the manufacturing sector.

He is a Reviewer of Research Scientific Journals of Spandidos Publications and Journal of Pharmaceutical Research International. He is also a Qualified Person, registered with Pharmaceutical Authorities of Cyprus. He has several publications in Journals.

Dr Christakis Sergides graduated from Aristotelion University in Greece followed by his postgraduate studies in the U.S.A. He received a Doctorate of Philosophy in Chemistry and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Denver, whereas his scientific studies won the American Chemical Society Research Award.
